HYOC Programs
HYOC's regular program takes place during the school year. All rehearsals are held at UH Mana Music Department. Every child is placed in an ensemble that matches their age and skill level. All children will participate in 2 concerts per year (Holiday and Spring). Depending on the ensemble that your child is in, they will also be in additional concerts. OPERAtunities
HYOC has a summer program on June 8-27, 2026. It is available for students in grades 5-12. This is a 3-week intensive program from M-F, 1-5pm. At the end of the 3 weeks, the students will perform a full opera where every role is portrayed by a student. Additionally, they will participate in every aspect of a production, including costumes and sets. Their daily instruction will be for voice, performance technique, drama & stage craft.
