Overview

With a commitment to music education, Hawaii's largest and oldest community youth choir for children (ages 5 - 18) has been making music since 1961.

HYOC helps to foster the personal and social growth of its members and promotes their self-esteem, as well as giving children a lifetime of music appreciation.

Mission Statement

The mission of the Hawaii Youth Opera Chorus is to build a firm foundation of excellence in choral performance; to educate, nurture and guide Hawaii's youth to establish a life-long appreciation of the performing arts; and to provide leadership in music education in Hawaii.
